First, Schreiber Insurance Agency is only licensed in the following states: Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah. If you are in any other location, we invite you to browse our site to get all kinds of information on insurance and related topics, but we cannot provide a quote at this time.
Select which type of quote you would like to receive by clicking here. Complete the short quote form and submit it by clicking the appropriate button below the form. You will receive a quote by e-mail (or the method you select) within one business day.
Simple. Click here. If you don't see the company you are looking for, please e-mail our claims department here or call our office at 1-800-452-9703. We have a book of phone numbers for every insurance company. We will be happy to look up the phone number for you.
Yes, you can! Schreiber Insurance Agency has partnered with PayPal, the world’s #1 online payment service -- it’s accepted on over 3 million eBay™ auctions and thousands of online shops. When you send money through PayPal, you can fund your payments with your credit card or checking account. You won’t have to worry about your privacy, because PayPal keeps your account information safe. Making a purchase with PayPal is more secure than mailing a check or giving your credit card number to a stranger. That’s why over 7 million people from around the world use PayPal to move money.
However, making a payment through Schreiber Insurance Agency requires that you be a customer of our agency. If you are insured directly or through some other agency, your payment will be returned to you so you can make other payment arrangements.
Making your payment through PayPal does not bind coverage. It will take at least one business day for the insurance company to be informed that we have your payment, so if your policy has expired and you make your payment here, you still will have no coverage until the company chooses to reinstate your policy.
If your policy has expired for non-payment, you may still pay through our PayPal service, but we recommend that you drive carefully until you hear for sure that the company has reinstated coverage.
If your credit card, debit card, or checking account transaction is denied for any reason, it will be deemed nonpayment of premium.
Many insurance companies now base their rates on what is called "Financial Responsibility". In English, that means that the company runs a basic credit score on each person who requests a quote and bases the final rate on the results.
Here is what they say:
"Major insurance companies and organizations such as Fair, Isaac and Company and Tillinghast-Towers Perrin have studied the issue and found data to support using credit history as a predictor of claim filing. The Arizona and Virginia insurance departments also have reaffirmed these findings through comprehensive studies of their own on the issue. After decades of use, insurance companies have found that using credit information can help them write more business and allow consumers to pay less."
Insurance underwriting has completely changed in the last year. Whereas companies used to deny coverage if you had a ticket or two, now if you have good credit you can, not only get coverage, but get better rates than you could before. On the other hand, if you happen to have poor credit, it also means that the company we would have quoted you first may end up giving you very high rates or decline to offer coverage at all.
Since the only thing worse than giving a high insurance quote is to have to say, "You know that quote we gave you? Well, it came back $2,000 higher," Schreiber Insurance Agency, like many other agencies, has decided just to ask for the Social Security number up front. That way we know and you know that the quote we give you is going to be accurate.
In order to ensure the security of your information, including your Social Security Number, Schreiber Insurance Agency uses Thawte Digital Certificate security. This ensures that all information you send to us via the World Wide Web will be encrypted. If any other internet user intercepts the communication he/she will only be able to see it in an encrypted (garbled) form. Certificate technology allows us to decrypt the information, and view it in plain text form. For more information on SSL digital certificates for web servers please click here.
